About Director

Victoria Kammin is an HCPC-registered music therapist with over 25 years of experience as a clinician, educator, researcher, clinical supervisor, mentor and consultant. She is currently completing a PhD at the University of York, focusing on music therapy in paediatric palliative care and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).

Victoria’s clinical expertise spans special education, adult learning disabilities, mental health  and older adult care, with a particular specialism in paediatric palliative care. She has worked across a wide range of NHS, educational, healthcare, social care, charity and private settings, providing therapeutic support across the lifespan.

​

In Higher Education, Victoria has held senior academic roles, including Senior Lecturer on the MA Music Therapy at the University of Roehampton and the MSc Music Therapy at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and External Examiner to the MA Music Therapy at the University of South Wales. She continues to contribute to Higher Education settings through visiting lectureships, supervision and consultation.

Victoria has a long-standing commitment to supporting teams, organisations and individuals across healthcare, social care, education and charitable sectors both in the UK and internationally. She responds to the specific needs of each setting, including providing clinical supervision, training and consultation, always aiming to help teams integrate collaborative, creative and evidence-informed approaches into their practice.

Professionally Victoria was Network Co-ordinator of the British Association of Music Therapy Children, Young People and Families Network for over ten years.  She works closely with the charity Jessie’s Fund and other charities as a training provider and consultant.
